At NY Crime Victims Legal Help we believe that “Every victim of crime deserves compassion; to be treated with dignity, respect and sensitivity; and to have their rights enforced.” NY Crime Victims Legal Help was developed to assist individuals whose lives have been turned upside down as the result of a crime. Crime victims don’t live in a vacuum and often their initial victimization impacts other areas of their lives. Knowing this, we strive to reach out to victims of crime and those who advocate for them. Often, victims of crime don’t seek help because of the significant barriers they face on the journey to justice. We want to remind survivors of crime that there is hope and that “positive outcomes are a reality”.

Our team consists of individuals that have come together for a collective purpose: to give crime victims access to legal assistance. Our team works to ensure that victims of crime are informed of their rights and have access to resources to ensure those rights. Together, we recognize that crime victims are more than their victimization and it is our hope that we can help them navigate the complexities of the legal system with resources that are easy to find, understand, and use.
