WakeUP Wake County is a 17-year-old non-profit, non-partisan advocacy organization focusing on the challenges and opportunities of Wake County’s tremendous growth. WakeUP leads public engagement on issues that impact quality of life in Wake County and the NC Triangle: transportation, land use, drinking water, public schools, and affordable housing. WakeUP educates citizens and policymakers about how the Triangle region should plan for growth. WakeUP’s goal is to ensure sustainable, healthy communities for a better tomorrow.
