DNI Ratcliffe: Hunter Biden’s Laptop ‘Not Part of Some Russian Disinformation Campaign’

Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe confirmed Monday morning that “there is no intelligence” to suggest that Hunter Biden’s laptop is “part of some Russian disinformation campaign.”
Russia, Russia, Russia! Anything that makes them look bad or corrupt the Democrats immediately points fingers at Russia.
That is exactly what they did when The New York Post published emails from Hunter Biden, the Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s son.
The emails showed Hunter pursued rich deals with a Chinese private energy company. Another set showed how a top Ukrainian exec suggested Hunter use his influence on behalf of Burisma.

Ratcliffe, during an exclusive interview on FOX Business’ “Mornings with Maria,” was asked about the allegations from Schiff, D-Calif., who over the weekend said that the Hunter Biden emails suggesting Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden had knowledge of, and was allegedly involved in, his son’s foreign business dealings.
“It’s funny that some of the people who complain the most about intelligence being politicized are the ones politicizing the intelligence,” Ratcliffe said. “Unfortunately, it is Adam Schiff who said the intelligence community believes the Hunter Biden laptop and emails on it are part of a Russian disinformation campaign.”
He added: “Let me be clear: the intelligence community doesn’t believe that because there is no intelligence that supports that. And we have shared no intelligence with Adam Schiff, or any member of Congress.”
Ratcliffe went on to say that it is “simply not true.”
“Hunter Biden’s laptop is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign,” Ratcliffe said, adding again that “this is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign.”
Democrats bemoan and complain when President Donald Trump says stuff off the cuff, but have NO problem when they do it.
Common sense did not stop House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff from claiming the emails found on Hunter’s laptop came from the Kremlin:
Ratcliffe’s comments come after House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff over the weekend described the emails as being part of a smear coming “from the Kremlin,” amid claims the revelations are part of a Russian disinformation campaign.
“We know that this whole smear on Joe Biden comes from the Kremlin,” Schiff said on CNN. “That’s been clear for well over a year now that they’ve been pushing this false narrative about this vice president and his son.”
Ratcliffe continued to hammer Schiff and the Democrats for spreading fake news:
“The FBI has had possession of this,” he said. “Without commenting on any investigation that they may or may not have, their investigation is not centered around Russian disinformation and the intelligence community is not playing any role with respect to that.”
He added: “The intelligence community has not been involved in Hunter Biden’s laptop.”

Ratcliffe went on to say that his role as director of National Intelligence, which he assumed earlier this year, is “to not allow people to leverage the intelligence community for a political narrative that’s not true.”

The best way to hold Wray accountable is for him to be fired at a very public news conference with President Trump where he is first asked why the FBI has sat on this information since last December .
Schiff put the lie out there. A huge percentage of the faithful will parrot it and call Ratcliffe a liar. Facebook and Twitter might even ban Ratcliffe for daring to contradict The Official Narrative.

“CA hatred” is based on observation; the state’s enthusiasm for obviously failed policies, its determination to continue those failures and even compound them, and its fixation on imposing those failures on the rest of us.
TDS is based on no such thing. TDS has nothing to do with actual performance, as is obvious because it was instant and not based on observation or experience.

Ratcliffe says Schiff can lie to the public because politicians lying to the public isn’t against the law. That’s how he got away with slipping out of ‘closed’ committee meetings and leaking information to the press: What he was telling the press about what was being said in the meetings wasn’t true.
The press still believes him because they share the same ‘Never Trump’ goals, and the end justifies the means. Why else they would believe somebody who pretty transparently lies to them?

The words schiff and intelligence don’t belong in the same sentence, or even the same paragraph for that matter.

Why can’t Ratcliffe just come out and state the obvious—that Schiff is a lying ratbag? I think that’s what he’s saying, but it’s buried in so much oleagenous pomposity that I can’t be sure.
Does anyone else find it…interesting…that the FBI just happens to unseal an indictment charging 6 Russian military intelligence officers with alleged cyber attacks against various foreign targets just when the DNI says there is no intelligence supporting claims that the Biden hard drive is Russian misinformation? Now, Schiff can claim Russian interference in just about anything he can dream up and justify it by pointing to this indictment.
There are a couple of questions that come to mind, though:
– Just how were the individual GRU officers identified as being involved in the alleged ‘attacks’?
– Among the alleged attacks are malware attacks against the Ukrainian power grid, Ministry of Finance, and State Treasury Service. What jurisdiction does the DOJ claim to bring an indictment when neither the alleged attacker nor the alleged victim are U.S. persons?
– This same question applies to several other areas of the indictment as well. For example, alleged attacks against the French President’s political party, local French governments, and French politicians before their 2017 elections. Again, where’s the U.S. interest?
An awfully convenient distraction from the topic of the Biden hard drive, wouldn’t you say?
