All Columbia students to receive free school meals

Columbia Daily Tribune

All students in the Columbia school district will receive free breakfasts and lunches at school this school year, regardless of economic status. The district informed families of the development in an email.

"This means you do not need to add money to your student’s lunch account. Families are still encouraged to complete the free and reduced-price lunch application if they are in need of assistance," the email reads.

Grab-and-go meals will continue to be delivered on designated routes for online students.

Elementary students returned to classrooms on Monday.
