Published

The Consortium for Elections and Political Process Strengthening (CEPPS) is honored to announce that we have been selected as the prime recipient of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Democratic Elections and Political Processes (DEPP) Leader with Associates Award. This partnership with USAID enables us to support the establishment and consolidation of inclusive and accountable democracies to advance freedom, dignity and development over the next five years.

This award underscores USAID’s enduring commitment to the advancement of freedom and dignity around the world and the promotion of democracy and human rights as an integral part of development.

As we begin this new chapter, our three core institutes, the International Foundation for Electoral Systems, the International Republican Institute, and the National Democratic Institute, will be joined by four senior technical partners: The American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative, the Center for International Private Enterprise, Democracy Arch, and Internews.

CEPPS looks forward to enhancing its partnership with USAID in the coming years to support democratic institutions in our partner countries and to help them best respond and adapt to changing circumstances on the ground.
