Stratford Man Charged After Gun Stolen From Truck: Police

The gun was left in the center console, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Stratford man was charged Jan. 15 after his Glock handgun was stolen from his unsecured car, according to police.

Evan Tibbals, 23, left the gun in the center console after he parked his truck in the driveway of his girlfriend's house, police said.

Police believe the truck was unlocked because there were no signs of forced entry. No other items were taken.
