SUMMARY
Our letter supports a campaign by Public Citizen, the Brennan Center for Justice, Common Cause, and other organizations. It asks Congress to enact “The John L. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act” to fortify the original “Voting Rights Act of 1965” which has been negatively impacted by recent Supreme Court decisions.
We will send your email messages to your Congressperson, your Senators, and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, and Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (for their respective caucuses). You will also have the opportunity to tweet your message to those people.
Tell Congress to pass the “John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act”
NOTE: While we support the campaigns of various organizations, we’re not associated with any of them, and we don’t share our member information with any person or organization. Ever.
