WCA Special Session at Kids Count Virtual Conference – November 18th at 1 pm

On November 18 at 1 pm, Limarie Cabrera, Director of Data, Operations & Finance, will present at a special session for the  KIDS COUNT: ALL Data Are Local virtual conference hosted by the New York State Council of Children and Families.  <Register to attend here.>

The conference, KIDS COUNT: ALL Data Are Local, will showcase different data websites native to New York State as well as national sites that illuminate important topics for children and families.  Limarie will speak about our Community Snapshots, our recently-published State of Westchester 2020 Black Children and Youth Report, and our efforts to empower communities with data they need to better advocate for children through our Data Done Differently Tour.

The conference is hosted by NYS Council of Children and Families,  the New York member of the state-level KIDS COUNT network. KIDS COUNT is a project of the Annie E. Casey Foundation to track the well-being of children in the United States.

At this time, other featured speakers at the conference include ACT Rochester, the National Center for Children in Poverty, the National Equity Atlas, the Child Opportunity Index, and the Citizens’ Committee on Children of New York.
