Medical and health professional students are doing incredible work organizing for single-payer Medicare for All TODAY!
Help us encourage future physicians to create active chapters of Students for a National Health Program at medical schools across the U.S. and provide them with the resources, training, and networking opportunities they’ll need to continue their advocacy in the years to come.
For more than a decade, SNaHP has been a crucial part of PNHP and a crucial part of the Medicare-for-All movement as a whole. In recent years they’ve pushed the American Medical Association to leave the anti-single payer Partnership for America’s Health Care Future and they’ve been working diligently to move state and specialty medical societies to abandon their longstanding opposition to Medicare for All.
As these students enter the medical profession, they carry with them a commitment to social justice and a determination to confront corporate control of our profession. They can—and will—make huge strides, but not without your support!
As we celebrate our 35th anniversary, let’s double down on this next generation of activists.
Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP) advocates for universal, comprehensive single-payer national health insurance, and collaborates with others to fight racism and advance social justice.
PNHP believes that high-quality health care is a right of all people and should be provided equitably as a public service rather than bought and sold as a commodity.
