Kiwanis Donates to Child and Family Guidance Center

The Kiwanis Club of Weston presented a check for $12,000 to the Child and Family Guidance Center at the club’s weekly breakfast meeting on February 26.

Michael Patota, the Center’s president and CEO was on hand to accept the donation, proceeds from October’s Kiwanis Reservoir Run. Mr. Patota was joined by Kate Czaplinski, the organization’s director of development and communications.

The Child and Family Guidance Center has been serving Fairfield County since 1925. With clinics in Bridgeport, Norwalk, and Stratford, the organization provides support to families regardless of their ability to pay. Its mission and goal is “for all Fairfield County children to be emotionally and psychologically healthy so they can reach their maximum potential at home, at school and in life.”
