Creation Care Kids

In chapter 6 of On Care for Our Common Home (Laudato Si'), Pope Francis speaks about the importance of ecological education. He mentions how it should take place in catechesis, saying that "Good education plants seeds when we are young, and these continue to bear fruit throughout life" (213) We have taken this very seriously, and have developed the resources below in response.

Pope Francis also stresses the "great importance" of the family and catechesis happening there: "In the family we first learn how to show love and respect for life; we are taught the proper use of things, order and cleanliness, respect for the local ecosystem and care for all creatures" (213) Below you will also find resources for parents, coaching them on how to talk to their children about care for creation.

Use these tools to bring Pope Francis' message to your children and families!
