Racial Equity Community of Practice
Chicago Learning Exchange and Urban Initiative have partnered with 826CHI, Laureus Sport for Good and Thrive to develop a Racial Equity Community of Practice for youth development providers in Chicago. At regular convenings, Chicago’s youth development community will learn how to successfully integrate racial diversity, equity, and inclusion into their organizations through facilitated learning and sharing of best practices by member organizations and external training partners.

This survey will help to inform the Community of Practice and a Discovery Session that will be held in early January. The Discovery Session and this survey will help us better understand 1) the barriers that youth development organizations face when doing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) work and 2) organizations' greatest needs to support this work.

None of your responses will be shared with your name or your organization's name attached. We ask for your name and organization so that we know who is interested in attending the discovery session. The people who will be reviewing your responses are Kiara Hadin (khardin@chicagolx.org) at Chicago Learning Exchange and Sara Shanley (sara.shanley@urbaninitiatives.org) at Urban Initiatives. Please reach out to either of them with further questions on how this data will be used.
