We Want to Hear Your Stories — What Has Free School Meals for All Meant for You?
We are working hard to achieve Healthy School Meals for All throughout the country. We have seen the impact of Healthy School Meals for All during the last two school years, when all schools could provide free meals to all students.

Some states and school districts are continuing to offer free meals to all students this school year; however, most schools have returned to the pre-pandemic approach, where, based on family income, some kids get free meals; some are charged a reduced-price; and others pay for their meals.

We want to hear from you! In the box below, please share how free school meals in the 2020–2021 or 2021–2022 school year helped your family. If your school no longer offers free meals to all students, please share how it is impacting you. It can be a sentence, it can be a paragraph — we just want to hear from you.

Together, we can make sure lawmakers know how important this provision is to helping keep children fed and supporting families.
