Bridgercare Updates on COVID-19

Dear Bridgercare Community,

First, please know this: we are here with you! We have made changes to adjust to the spread of Covid-19, but we are still offering services. Guidelines and restrictions are constantly evolving, and we want to make sure you are in the loop on any changes. Before scheduling, here’s what to know:

Telehealth Appointments:

We offer certain appointments via Telehealth! This is a virtual appointment with your provider using video & audio from a phone or computer. If you’re not too sure how this works, you’re not alone! Many of us are new to Telehealth, so

check out this video for a step-by-step description. Your provider will determine if you also need to come into the clinic for care.

In-Person

Appointments:

During in-person visits, both the patient and all staff will wear masks provided by Bridgercare. We will also give you instructions on how we can keep you and the staff safe and healthy during your visit.

Teen Clinic:

Teen Clinic is still happening every week! As always, it offers free, confidential appointments for teens on Mondays. The time has been slightly adjusted to 3 PM - 5 PM. Visits are done first via Telehealth, and for certain services, we may then ask you to come into the clinic. It's still first-come, first-serve: just call between 3 to 5 PM (the earlier the better!) to reserve a slot.

IUDs and Nexplanons:

We are offering IUD and Nexplanon inserts, removals, and replacements! We’ll give you instructions for the day of the procedure.

Curbside Pickup:

We’re offering curbside pickup for condoms, emergency contraception, and birth control refills! Simply park outside the clinic, call the front desk, and someone will bring down these materials to your vehicle. (We still need at least 24 hours of notice of birth control refills though, so be sure to order them ahead of time!).

Bridgercare Hours:

We have adjusted our hours to 8:45 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

Insurance and Medicaid:

We accept all patients, whether you have insurance, Medicaid, or no insurance! We can also help you apply for Medicaid (if you've been laid off or had hours reduced, you may be eligible). Clinic Coordinator Tracie is our all-things-insurance expert and can assist you in determining your options and applying. Call Tracie at 406-587-0681 ext. 120 or email at tweiss@bridgercare.org to get in touch.

Vaccines:

The Covid-19 vaccine is now available to all adult Montanans! The vaccines are safe, effective, and a crucial step in keeping ourselves and the community at large safe. We sat down with our Medical Director to get to the bottom of some FAQs on the vaccines.

We know that this is not a comprehensive list of changes and services! So if you have any concerns or questions, please give the Front Desk a call at 406-587-0681. Wishing you and your loved one’s wellness and rest during these stressful times.
