One of PyData's goals is to increase the diversity and inclusion of underrepresented groups in software engineering, data science, and open source by creating unique opportunities for underrepresented groups to join and participate in the community. Underrepresentation can take many forms including gender, geography, and race/ethnicity, but also being a first-generation student, a person between jobs or a single parent.
For PyData Global 2020, we are offering scholarship opportunities to those from underrepresented groups who may not otherwise attend the conference or who are looking to be part of a community within the PyData Global conference.
