Collaborative Art Project

Sponsors Mentorship Program recently coordinated a unique art project in which Sponsors community members came together (virtually!) to recreate a famous work of art. First, participants were asked to vote for one of the following artworks:

(Clockwise from top left: The Great Wave off Kanagawa by Katsushika Hokusai; Persistence of Memory by Salvador Dali, Freshness of Cold in the Evening by Leonid Afremov; Water Lilies by Claude Monet; The Starry Night by Leonardo da Vinci; The Scream by Edvard Munch)

The winner of this vote was Freshness of Cold in the Evening by Leonid Afremov (source: afremov.com):

Each participant was then assigned one section of the artwork, and was asked to recreate that section any way they liked, in any medium. Below is the result!
