May 5, 2024, 10 a.m. – Coming of Age Service in the Sanctuary and via livestream.
- Description: This service is led by youth in UUCF’s Coming of Age (COA) course. COA examines the theology and values of Unitarian Universalism and culminates in students sharing their credos of beliefs during this service.
- Other Worship participants: Director of Family Ministries Diana Tycer, Assistant Director of Family Ministries Courtney Firth, Director of Music & Arts Laura Weiss, and several mentors and teachers working with the Coming of Age students. Audiovisual support provided by members of the AV Tech Team: Dave Anderson, Haydar Bolunmez, Bill Braband, Tom Hettenhouser, Mary Lareau, Ben Mellott and/or Alan Steel.

- Religious Exploration: Spring RE in session for ages 2 through grade 5. Grades 6 and up attend the full worship service. No child care available (Nursery open for parents caring for their own children with the worship service livestreamed in the Nursery). Spring RE in session for ages 2 through grade 5. Grades 6 and up attend the full worship service.
- Service Rebroadcasts: The entire service is rebroadcast via livestream on Sundays at 1 and 7 p.m. and Mondays and Tuesdays and 7 p.m.

The Share the Plate recipient for May is Blue Ridge Abortion Fund. The organization believes that funding abortion is an act of radical care and that all community members should have the agency and the resources to make their own decisions about their bodies and lives. The Fund provides community members with financial support, transportation, and lodging assistance. Through education and community outreach, they work to reduce stigma and increase awareness.
