Catholic Social Teaching Ministry

We seek to help parishioners see the challenges of modern society – poverty, homelessness, immigration, racism, globalization – through the lens of our Catholic faith.

Our Mission: To be the primary parish resource and catalyst for social justice through Prayer, Education and Action.

Our Guiding Principles:

  • Based on Catholic Social Teaching
  • Issue Identification, Education, Meaningful Exchange
  • Pursuit of Dignity + Rights for Disadvantaged People
  • Partner with Organizations, Coalitions and other Ministries

We continue to grow and invite you to learn more about our ministry. We have some exciting plans for this year, including thought provoking speakers, Social Justice related movies, Fair Trade Markets and much more.

Monthly Meeting: Join us on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in Room 210 in the Ministry Building. For more information or to join our mailing list, email cstministry@saintphilipneri.org
