Who we are

We are a group of 9 nonprofit organizations across Iowa who support youth who have aged out of foster care or other out-of-home placement.

What we do

We help transitioning youth meet the challenges of independent living by including them as equal partners in planning and programming.

Who we serve

We serve more than 600 young adults between the ages of 18 to 23 each year, helping them navigate a successful transition to adulthood.

You're about to age out of foster care ... so now what?

Entering adulthood means making lots of decisions, and it can be a tough time. The Iowa Aftercare Services Network (IASN) is available to help young adults who experienced foster care or other court-ordered placement as a teenager. We will help you reach your personal goals for: education, employment, housing, health, life skills and relationships.
