  The Hiring Process

Candidates must submit a resume and/or employment application to the Human Resources Office by the deadline shown on the position notice. The candidate(s) that best match the qualifications and duties and responsibilities listed in the posted position description will be contacted for employment interviews.

After a selection is made, a drug screening and medical examination are required of each prospective employee. The PHA is a drug-free workplace and the prospective employee’s physical condition must be consistent with the job requirements.

Employees who will be driving a vehicle for official PHA business must have and maintain a valid driver’s license appropriate for the type of vehicle(s) he or she operates.
