Slow Food Portland and Roux are celebrating International Women's Day at Real Good Food!
Join us for CHOP TALK, a free panel discussion digging into women-owned farms and CSAs including farmers Jennifer Rose Marie Serna from Wapato Island Farm, Michelle Week from x̌ast sq̓it (Good Rain Farm), Mary Colombo from Wild Roots Farm, and Nicki Passarella from Amica Farm. The panel will be moderated by Holly Hutchason, Executive Director of the Portland Area CSA Coalition.
We’ll then move to the party with an all-women line-up featuring five local chefs tasked with using a secret ingredient from a Real Good Food purveyor to make a surprise dish that will be served alongside wine from Landmass and other female wine producers.
The tastings are priced a la carte. A portion of the proceeds from the tasting party will support the Slow Food Portland Market Scouts program at the Lent's International Farmers Market in the 2020 season.
