Located on the beautiful Kitsap Peninsula, Clear Creek Trail is almost 8 miles from Silverdale Waterfront Park on Dyes Inlet north to Trigger Avenue. It follows Clear Creek as it meanders through riparian areas, wetlands, and remnant forests. Hard to believe it's in the middle of a highly developed urban area.

Repair T Bridge railing.
A big old tree came down and took out 15' of railing on theT bridge northeast of the bowling alley.
The Task Force worked on it for two days and it's almost there! We have about two hours work left to do.
We'll meet at the northeast corner of the All Star Lanes parking lot at noon and should finish up around 2p, depending on how many hands are there to help.
We'll supply the lumber and hardware, and some tools. Bring your gloves.
Come when you can and leave when you must! It's a rain or shine event, so dress appropriately.

Trail Clean Up
Join Great Peninsula Conservancy, Clear Creek Task Force and Kitsap County for a trail Clean up from 10 til 12:30p.
We'll be picking up trash and litter along Clear Creek Trail. Removing trash from these riparian zones removes pollutants, encourages the growth of native plant species, and provides healthy salmon habitat in Clear Creek.
Make new friends and get your good deed for the day done!

Discovery Play Day - Birds!
You're invited to Clear Creek's Discovery Play Day Birding Buddies in the North Valley from 0900 until 11:00a..
Join the Clear Creek Task Force and Silverdale Librarian Aleah Jurnecka in the great outdoors at our exploration of birds.
This outdoor adventure in learning for 3 to 8 year olds will have Storytime with Miss Aleah, a craft or two, Kitsap Audubon Society and bird spotters set up along the trail to spy birds in the marshes, ponds and air.
There are many special things about birds. For one, they have feathers. No other animal has them. Birds come in an amazing variety of colors and sizes. And bird beaks are specially designed to allow birds to gather bugs or nectar or seeds or grasses. Learn so much more at this event.
