We’re heading into another semester of bike club at LAUSD schools! Since 2020, LACBC has been working with schools across the County to bring bike safety knowledge and handling skills to middle schoolers in Title 1 schools.
Last year, we worked with seven schools from Highland Park to East LA and South Central
and worked with over 100 students and staff. Over the summer we launched the very first bike skills summer camp at Griffith Middle School in partnership with Beyond the Bell. Check out our gallery below to see some highlights from the past year.
For the 2022-2023 school year we hope to expand to 10 schools and many more students! We’re so grateful to all the LAUSD admin, teachers, parents and students who have helped us bring this after school program to the second largest school district in the nation.
