EVENT FULL: Moonlit Paddle

Float with us under the full moon! Naturalists from Black Hawk County Conservation will be there to identify migrating birds and other wildlife as they come out to forage during twilight. Kayaks, paddle, and PFDs will be provided. PFDs must be worn during this program. 

Cost: $10/kayak

*All of our kayaks are single seat, sit-inside kayaks. Children can paddle in a kayak alone if they are 12 years or older.

Location: South Boat Ramp, Big Woods Lake, Cedar Falls, Iowa 

Refund Policy: Refund Policy: Refunds will only be given in the case of a documented medical emergency or funeral for programs more than $10. If program cost is under $10, a program voucher will be offered for a future program. If a program is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen reasons, then a similar program will be offered in its place.

COVID Concerns:  We are also requiring every participant to have a completed waiver in order to participate in this program. The waiver is attached to this program listing. All equipment will be sanitized before and after this program. During all programs, participants will be asked to social distance and every effort will be made to keep participants 6 feet apart when they are outside where masks are not required.
