Fluoride Action Network

Thank You Spedding!

Fluoride Action Network | Bulletin | September 20, 2021

Spedding Micklem, PhD, was my terrific co-author of The Case Against Fluoride (Chelsea Green, 2010), along with James Beck, MD, PhD. Spedding is a Professor Emeritus in the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Edinburgh.

Today, Spedding is seriously ill. On behalf of all of us at the Fluoride Action Network I wish to thank him for all he has done over many years to shine a scientific spotlight on the dangers posed by fluoride to human health.

If you are one of the many people who have benefitted from this book, we hope you will send him a short note letting him know how much you appreciate his work: hsmicklem@yahoo.com

Ellen and I spent a few days with him and his lovely wife in his Edinburgh home in 2019.  In addition to his scientific work, Spedding is a fine musician and he moved us deeply with his beautiful piano playing. His recording of the last three piano sonatas of Beethoven remain my favorite version.

Thank you for everything Spedding.

With love,

Paul
