Democracy encompasses voter registration, voter mobilization, access to voting, redistricting, and more.

The Democracy Team partners with organizations like Kentuckians for the Commonwealth and the League of Women Voters to alert and mobilize UUs in Kentucky around these issues. This team was very active in the UU the Vote efforts in the fall of 2020, conducting weekly phonebanks to register and then mobilize people who had recently gotten the right to vote restored to them but who may not have been aware of that fact or known what they needed to do. From September 1 through October 9, Kentucky UUs contacted over 1000 people!

The Democracy Team meets on the fourth Monday of every month, at 3pm ET (2pm CT).
