Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption is committed to providing essential services and support to the kinship, foster and adoptive children, youth, and families in Central Missouri.

Why We're Great

We are committed to building loving families and improving the future of children by breaking the cycle of abuse, neglect, and poverty. Loved children live better. We find them families, and we strengthen those families. The need is great, with about 13,000 foster children alone in our state. We’re a one-stop shop for foster, adoptive, and kinship (family relatives/friends) families.

We transform lives. We provide safe homes, support, and love to vulnerable kids, creating strong families. Your financial help sustains our vital work, shaping a better future for our community.

Here's what $50 or $100 would mean to us:

A generous donation of $100 would go a long way toward helping us provide a Begin Again Backpack, a backpack filled with essential toiletries and school/personal items for children entering the foster care system. Many of these children leave their homes with only the clothing on their backs and whatever they can fit into a trash bag.

Columbia residents are kind-hearted and generous! Thanks to their support, we were able to develop an advocacy program that includes mental health assistance and an individualized education plan (IEP) for children, among other things.
