New Georgia Project (NGP is Georgia’s largest independent Black-led civic engagement and community power-building organization) is ramping up its voter turnout for the Dec. 6th US Senate runoff election. As of Nov. 14th NGP launched a massive 21-day direct voter contact Get Out the Vote effort. The goal is to turn out at least 150,000 voters in the targeted New American Majority high-population counties. In order to do this NGP will need to knock 400,000 doors, make 60,000 phone calls, send 250,000 texts and move 10,000 Georgians to complete a voter plan card. Ways people and organizations can support runoff voter turnout efforts in Georgia: - Donate money to support NGP’s runoff campaign. You can give at ngpaf.org/give and
