Health Certificates for Travel Off-Island

Health certs can only be signed within 10 days of your flight.

If we sign a health cert and then your animal does not fly within 10 days, you will need to come back for a new cert.

Please bring with you the following info:

  • Flight date,
  • Which airline you are flying on,
  • Whether the animal is flying in-cabin or cargo. Do not assume you can bring your animal with you on the plane. There are both in-cabin and in-cargo restrictions, and you need to contact your airline to make sure you can get your pet on the plane with you.
  • Your name,
  • Current address,
  • Future address,
  • Phone Number,
  • Vaccination records of animal(s) including date and serial number – if records are unavailable or out of date, we will be happy to vaccinate during your appointment for a fee. All flights out of Hawaii require rabies, a few states require dog/cat vaccine within the year and/or heartworm tests.
  • Microchip Number for your pet(s) – Don’t worry if you don’t have the number, we scan every animal. If your pet does not have a microchip, we will administer one for a $20 fee.
