VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Speak up for an abused or neglected
child in the Pikes Peak Region!

CASA volunteers are everyday citizens. They are male and female. They come from all backgrounds, races, and religions. Some are retired while others are just out of college. Their careers are varied, as are their personalities and families.

However, CASA volunteers do have one thing in common:  The belief that ALL children deserve a fair shot in this life. If you're visiting this page, chances are you hold that same belief. So thank you.

CASA of the Pikes Peak Region NEEDS people like you to advocate for victims of child abuse and neglect in El Paso and Teller counties. Please consider volunteering in our Dependency & Neglect (D&N), Supervised Exchange & Parenting Time (SEPT), or Milton Foster Children's Fund (MFCF) programs.

HOW TO VOLUNTEER

Once you've decided to make the commitment, follow these steps and you'll be on your way to lifting up the life of a vulnerable child!

1) APPLY: Complete the volunteer application by clicking here for D&N/ Advocacy, or here for SEPT/Milton Foster.

2) INTERVIEW: Once we've received your application, you will be called for an interview.

3) TRAIN: All volunteers are thoroughly trained. Click here to see  training schedules.

4) TAKE AN OATH: Before beginning their work, most of our volunteers are sworn in by a judge. Click here to see a swearing-in!

Why Choose CASA?

Volunteering for CASA is different than volunteering for other organizations. Most nonprofits have staff to do the work and volunteers to support them. At CASA, it's the volunteers on the front lines making the difference. Staff is simply here to support you.

Many of our volunteers say this work has changed their lives or brought them fulfillment. Learn more about what it's like at our next Volunteer Info Session, contact our Volunteer Recruitment Manager on the contact page with questions, or click below to read stories as told by the volunteers themselves.

Volunteer Opportunities

MILTON FOSTER CHILDREN'S FUND (MFCF)
MFCF provides youth in foster care with enrichment and educational opportunities through funding, teen life skills classes and events, and The Hanger. Read more.

SUPERVISED EXCHANGE & PARENTING TIME (SEPT)
Volunteer facilitators in our SEPT Program enable kids to maintain relationships with non-custodial parents by monitoring and documenting court-ordered supervised visits. Learn more.
