Friend,

Be a champion for kids! Join the Children's Mental Health Campaign, Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, and the Massachusetts Association for Infant Mental Health on May 5th, 2021 at 12:30 pm as we watch a segment of The Raising of America and bring awareness to infant and childhood mental health!

Children's Mental Health Awareness Week (CMHAW), May 2nd-8th, 2021, is an opportunity for communities to come together to talk about about the importance of children's mental health and what we can do to address inequity, discrimination, and lack of awareness. This CMHAW, we're spotlighting infant and early childhood mental health, defined as the social and emotional well-being of children ages birth to six, developed in the context of their earliest nurturing caregiving relationships.

Facilitated by Aditi Subramaniam, LMHC, R-DMT, IECMH-E®, Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Partnership Manager at MSPCC, we will watch a segment of ‘The Raising of America’ and together reflect and raise awareness on the importance of IECMH!

This interactive Zoom event will last one hour with 30 minutes of Q&A and small group discussion. Bring your lunch and a commitment to sharing and learning together! We have a limited capacity, so sign up now!

CMHAW Zoom Backgrounds

We've created Zoom backgrounds for use during the Children's Mental Health Awareness Week and Mental Health Awareness Month. Download and use them all month long!

The ‘Raising of America’ is a documentary that seeks to encourage a national conversation that links early child relationships and environments to their impact on the biology of young children, and how these in turn influence adult outcomes as well as the future of the nation.
