Family Nature Circle - High Holy Days 2021 edition
Because there are so many connections to find in nature.
A small cohort of families (kids ages 4-8) will join together for 3 outdoor holiday celebrations at different nature centers in Westchester (within 30 mins drive). At each gathering, we'll explore our beautiful surroundings, read a story, and focus on one key ritual of the holiday.
Rosh Hashanah (9/7) – WOW: Reflecting on challenges & sweetness as we make apple cider for the New Year.
Yom Kippur (9/16) – Turning & Returning: A Birding Adventure
Sukkot (9/25) – Building with Nature: A Partnership with Scribble Workshop
Our gatherings will take place in the morning: The Early Circle will start at 9:30a, and the Later Circle will start at 11:30a. The cost is $118 per family.
This program is made possible through a grant from PJ Library, a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation.
