Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper is scheduled to hold a health care town hall next week with Lt. Gov. Donna Lynne.
The Democrats’ event will be Aug. 16 at the Aurora Municipal Center starting at 6 p.m.

Hickenlooper said the event is being held to ensure the public can add its voice to bipartisan efforts to help solve the nation’s health care issues.
Hickenlooper has been working with Ohio Gov. John Kasich and other governors to urge Congress to work on bipartisan health care legislation. He appeared with Kasich on CBS’ “Face the Nation” on Sunday to spread that word.
Lynne, a former Kaiser Permanente executive, is exploring a run to replace Hickenlooper next year. Hickenlooper said last week that health care will be one of the largest issues in the election of his successor.
