Wetlands were once a part of every watershed in the state, but nearly 95% of them have been drained This program will have us diving into the ecology and intrigue of these systems and discussing the challenges they face and the promises of conservation. Plan to get your hands dirty as we discover what lives below the surface of an Iowa wetland. This program is for adult women ages 21+ who want to become more comfortable and knowledgeable about the natural world by joining other women interested in getting outside.
