Help keep the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission's funding intact, and keep it working at strength to preserve our historic city.

The NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission is one of the City’s smallest agencies, yet they’re responsible for administering almost 40,000 landmarked properties - including individual and scenic landmarks and buildings in historic districts - as well as researching historic buildings and neighborhoods to create new landmarks.
The city administration is proposing to cut the LPC’s budget for the next year, which will shave the resources of the LPC to below bare-boned.
Please send a letter to your local elected officials today to ask them to maintain LPC's budget: you can use the pre-drafted letter at the "Take Action" link on this page, or change the wording of the letter to suit yourself.
And please share it widely among your friends and social networks.
Thank you in advance for taking action!
