Following the video presentation, you will be invited to attend facilitated breakout room discussions using the approach in a UUA commissioned template for congregational conversations designed with the intention to create safe spaces for sharing.
About the November recorded webinar:
Sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Association and hosted by Muslim and Jewish UU professionals, the webinar features experts sharing about UU engagement on these issues over the past 40 years, reflecting on the many-layered history of the region, exploring the complexities of Islamophobia and antisemitism, and faithful responses to the ongoing violence. In this time of collective fear and grief, let us form a community willing to learn, struggle, and heal together.
Information about follow-up webinars on related topics such as antisemitism and anti-Palestinian racism as well as how to excel at handling conflict will be provided at the end of the session.
