Support Senate Bill 3764 (Villa) and House Bill 4806 (Mussman), which seek a $3 per hour wage increase for DSPs beginning January of 2025. This increase will finally achieve 150% of minimum wage, the #1 recommendation by the Guidehouse Rate Study.
We are emphasizing that WITHOUT legislators’ action this session, these essential and valued staff will not see a raise for at least two years – not until January of 2026! Minimum wage goes up once again in January 2025, so if no wage increase is included this spring, we will go backwards – reversing the gains that the state itself helped us achieve through incremental increases over the last several years.
