The National Network for Youth (NN4Y) is the nation’s leading network of youth, advocates, and community-based service providers dedicated to preventing and ending youth and young adult homelessness. NN4Y envisions a world where all young people have a safe place to call home with endless opportunities to reach their full potential.

Together with our members, NN4Y works to:

  • Increase Organizations’ Advocacy Engagement
    Our work increases youth homelessness provider’s capacity to engage in effective, strategic advocacy through training, technical assistance, resources, and guidance on navigating lobbying and creating recommendations.

  • Advocate for Effective Policies
    We work on your behalf to educate policymakers about the devastating impact of youth homelessness. The recommendations we set forth to policymakers are informed by our members, partners, and young leaders.

  • Empower Young People
    Youth survivors of homelessness have expertise and insights that complement and transcend traditional research. NN4Y empowers young leaders to define a policy agenda and educate the public, youth service providers, and policymakers as experts on youth homelessness.

  • Strengthen the Community’s Work
    We provide training and tailored technical assistance to transform systems and community practices. NN4Y supports communities to establish Local Cross-System Collaboratives (LCSC) on Youth Homelessness to address the root causes of homelessness among young people by advancing innovative, long-term solutions through multi-pronged and multi-level collaborative community work.
