Campaigns and Work
Why Budgets?
Budgets are a reflection of our values and priorities. The work of CURB trailblazers have shown us that decarceration through budget advocacy is a highly effective strategy to accomplish our goals.
Close California Prisons
Launched in April 2021, the #CloseCAPrisons campaign, a growing coalition of racial, economic and environmental justice organizations anchored by CURB, is working to move California to close at least 10 state prisons.
