FAMILY ACCESS DONATIONS
Make the Museum Accessible for All

Despite Westchester County's reputation for affluence, a concerning 1 in 10 children in our region lives in poverty, with over 22,000 children lacking access to playful learning experiences.

The Museum has launched a program to address this disparity. The Westchester Children’s Museum now offers a reduced-cost membership to qualifying families. This unique financial assistance membership program seeks to make the Museum accessible to all children, eliminating economic barriers.

Purchasing 1 FAM membership =
1 underserved family's year-long membership to the Museum

Thank you so much for your support of this initiative!

The Museum was founded several years ago by a coalition of donors called the Founding Families. The Founding Family program enabled the Westchester Children's Museum to grow from an idea around a kitchen table to a fully operational museum that opened its first phase to the public in April 2016.
