BCBSA, Anthem Extend Cost-Free Treatment Through Health Emergency

Plans affiliated with the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) will waive cost-sharing for COVID-19 testing and treatment at least through the current public health emergency, a spokesperson tells Inside Health Policy , coming as consumer advocacy group Public Citizen notes many plans were slated to end cost-free treatment by June 1 and encourages an extension of the policy.
