Today, May 15, is Nakba Day. This year marks 76 years since 1948 when 15,000 Palestinians were massacred and more than 750,000 Palestinians were expelled from their homes. Many became refugees in Gaza, unable to return to their homes. The horrors have gone on too long.

And as student protesters have been calling for an end to U.S. support for war crimes, they have been silenced, arrested, and criminalized.

Join us in sending a message to President Biden and all governors: Don’t call on the police to suppress our First Amendment right to protest. Listen to students, human rights experts, and the majority of U.S. voters who are demanding an end to U.S. support for the Israeli military’s war crimes.

Today and everyday, it is important to recognize the mothers and matriarchs who are a vital part of our communities. And sending love and care to all those who cannot be with their loved ones, for whatever reason.

#MothersDay
Today is the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Native Women and Girls ❤️‍🩹 We also want to bring awareness to our Two Spirit and other relatives who are subjected to colonial violence.

Please support @niwrc and others who are actively involved in the MMIWG2S and MMIP movements.
