The Maryland Community Health Resources Commission (CHRC) is seeking independent reviewers to evaluate proposals/applications received from the FY 2024 Request for Applications. 

We are seeking reviewers in the following areas:

• ​Addressing Chronic Disease Prevention and Disease Management, including Diabetes and its Comorbidities, Hypertension, Heart Disease and others (approximately 30 – 40 applications / 2 reviewers);
• Promoting Maternal and Child Health (approximately 10 – 15 applications / 1 reviewer);
• Dental Care Services (approximately 5 -8 applications / 1 reviewer);
•  Addressing Behavioral Health, including Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and the ongoing impact of the Opioid Crisis (approximately 30 – 40 applications / 2 reviewers); and
• ​​Fiscal Review of Grant Applicant Financial Information​ (approximately 45 reviews / 2 reviewers)

CHRC will be requesting that reviewers complete and return their evaluations to CHRC staff by June 3, 2024, at 12:00 pm.

Bid solicitations are due to the CHRC no later than 12:00 pm on May 16, 2024, and should be emailed to: jen.clatterbuck@maryland.gov.

COMMUNITY HEALTH RESOURCES COMMISSION ISSUES FY 2024 REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS;

$7 MILLION AVAILABLE TO PROMOTE HEALTH EQUITY AND EXPAND ACCESS TO CARE
 

The CHRC Commissioners have issued the Expanding Health Care Access and Promoting Health Equity FY 2024 Request for Applications​ which will award approximately $7 million statewide.  Eligible applicants are reminded that full grant proposals are due May 16.   Grant awards will be issued by the Commission in late June. The following are the key dates and deadlines for the FY 2024 RFA
