The Colbert Engagement & Support Coordinator conducts outreach to people with disabilities living in nursing facilities (NF) to tell them about their right to seek transition services under the Colbert Consent Decree. This role builds rapport and develop partnerships with facility staff, and other community partners to create resident access and engagement and educates consumers about resources available to them to transition, offer pre-transition support and education, and conduct post transition home visits.

Access Living seeks a part-time (20 hours/week) Peer Support Coordinator as a key member of the gun violence support program team. The Peer Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting survivors of gun violence and facilitate peer support groups for people who have become disabled through gun violence. This position will also work with peer facilitators that will run or co-run support groups for specific identity groups (e.g. youth who are disabled by gun violence).

Access Living seeks a full-time Diversion and Reentry Policy Analyst, who will be responsible for systems change efforts to improve diversion and reentry for people with disabilities. The Policy Analyst will assess, develop, and advocate for systems change that shifts diversion/reentry processes/programs towards more accessible and effective supports for all kinds of people with disabilities impacted by the criminal system.

The Access Living Healthcare/HCBS Policy Analyst is responsible for advancing access to healthcare and home and community-based services (HCBS) for people with disabilities. The Policy Analyst will assess, develop, and lobby for legislation and rules that shift healthcare systems to greater accessibility, affordability, and effective supports for all kinds of people with disabilities, including those who are immigrants and those who are impacted by the criminal justice system.
