Join us for a comprehensive overview of fair housing laws that protect renters and homebuyers from discrimination. We will cover the history of housing discrimination, present-day housing barriers, and the legal responsibilities of housing providers, including real estate professionals, landlords, and property managers, under the Fair Housing Act.
Housing counselors will be equipped with the knowledge and resources necessary to educate their clients about fair housing requirements, identify potential fair housing violations, assist clients in filing discrimination complaints, and work with fair housing enforcement organizations to address discrimination.
