Join Beyond Toxics on April 23rd for a webinar on the Future of Coffin Butte Landfill and its impacts on Benton County. Learn about the climate impacts, toxic concerns, long term liabilities, and the anticipated expansion of Coffin Butte Landfill. Panelists include a hydrogeologist, environmental engineer, and Beyond Toxics Staff, with plenty of time for questions afterwards.

This event will be co-hosted by Beyond Toxics and Valley Neighbors for Environmental Quality and Safety (VNEQS).

Learn more about the issues surrounding the potential expansion of the Coffin Butte Landfill.

Birds, Bees, and Turtles, OH MY!
Explore Bethel’s beautiful Golden Gardens park and learn all about the critters that make this place home. From 10 am to 2 pm on May 4th, community organizations will table and lead family friendly educational tours around the park.

10am: Bird Tour
12pm: Bee Survey
1pm: Turtle walk

Join us for one of our next resilient forestry tours in 2024:

NOW ACCEPTING REGISTRATION!

Most years we partner with small forest owners to host guided tours in biodiverse forests. These projects demonstrate how good forest management can protect drinking water, biodiversity and sequester carbon on the land, all of which are practices that benefit future generations.
