Orca Recovery Day BONUS Birding Tour
October 15, 2022, 9:00 am - 10:00 am
We’ve added a BONUS EVENT to our Orca Recovery Day 2022 work party at the Klingel-Bryan-Beard Wildlife Refuge. Join us on Saturday, October 15th from 9-10am to celebrate the restoration of an incredible saltwater marsh preserve and the annual migration of shorebirds that find safe harbor there. This special BONUS Walk and Talk event will be led by Great Peninsula Conservancy Stewardship Manager Adrian Wolf who has extensive experience as a field ornithologist. Register for the bird tour at 9 am and consider staying for the stewardship event that follows!
Details:
- The walk will be ~1/2 mile
- The terrain is mostly flat and even
- Dress for the weather
- Bring your binoculars, field guides, and 2022 birding lists!
