As a team of entrepreneurs, educators, and executives, we come together to incubate companies that utilize emerging technologies. Based in the greater Washington DC/Baltimore area, we deploy capital, provide guidance, and help entrepreneurs grow their businesses using the EVERY Employee approach.

Our companies begin as ideas from our emerging technologies programs that are taught at PHILLIPS Programs. As the teams form, business models are created and funding and resources are provided to bring the products and services to a proof of concept. For the first few years of their existence, the new companies will be supported and grown by SpringForward before being transferred to the employee-owners when financially sustainable.

SpringForward’s employee-owners not only gain employment but also become empowered decision-makers with increased financial and social equity. Further, SpringForward is a replicable, scalable model that aims to pivot the employment landscape for those who encounter barriers.
