Conference Description: Whether you work directly with 3SquaresVT applicants or simply want to learn more about anti-hunger work in Vermont, we hope you can join Hunger Free Vermont, The Department for Children and Families, and statewide advocates and service providers on April 12 & 13, 2023 for a free, virtual, two-day conference to gain a deeper knowledge of 3SquaresVT with special focus on our four themes: advocacy, education, outreach, and policy.

This year’s conference will be held virtually. We arrived at this decision after lengthy conversations with partners and collaborators considering accessibility, equity, inclusion, safety and the uncertainties from the constant up and down of Covid-19 cases in our state. At this conference, we will continue to shape our work as 3SquaresVT outreach partners, anti-hunger advocates, and community leaders. We will focus on the latest changes to the program, outreach best practices, and advanced 3SquaresVT training. We will celebrate our wins over the last year, and create a path to continue down to make our work and 3SquaresVT more equitable.

This conference is for a broad range of organizations and people including those from community action agencies, agencies on aging, food shelves, farmers and growers, community meal sites, schools and universities, health clinics and hospitals, senior centers, shelters, veterans organizations, housing authorities, childcare centers and more.
