Our 2021 race will be both in-person and virtual, again allowing runners to participate from near and far.
This year, we are adding a wave start to the race to streamline our start and spread out runners throughout the trail system. Choose which heat you'd like to join in the registration process.
*Proceeds from Amy's Race will go towards the Bolton Hub Initiative. These funds will allow us to protect land within the Initiative, including purchase price, all transactional costs (closing costs, due diligence and administrative costs), and stewardship costs to protect the properties for future generations. Thank you!
A true trail run, the rugged 4.5-mile race course winds through the scenic ponds, marshes and forests of Amy's Park, amidst the idyllic Indian Brook area, a conservation priority area for the Lake George Land Conservancy.
This year, run the race on October 2 OR run wherever you can, as long as it's 4.5 miles! You're running for the LGLC no matter where you go. Runners must register to participate.
2020's overall winner, Volker Burkowski, was also the defending 2018 and 2019 champion, finished the race in 40 minutes and 9 seconds. The female winner, also a defending champion, was Kaley Bell, a fourth time Amy’s racer, who finished the race in 42 minutes and 9 seconds.
Amy's Race winds its way through Amy's Park, a pristine wetland preserve that is a prime example of the benefits of land conservation. Amy's Park, named in memory of Amy Wolgin Weiner, provides habitat to countless species and filters gallons of water flowing down Indian Brook into Lake George.
Amy's Race brings attention to this beautiful, protected land, made possible by the Lake George Land Conservancy and the Wolgin Family, which is part of the LGLC's Bolton Recreational Hub.
This year, proceeds from Amy's Race will benefit the Bolton Hub Initiative.

Unfortunately, we have decided to cancel this year's After-Party for safety concerns. In lieu of the Party, all participants will receive a free drink voucher from Bolton Landing Brewing Co. - we encourage you to visit downtown Bolton Landing after the race to enjoy the restaurants and shopping on your own!
We apologize for this change but appreciate your understanding as we work to make sure Amy's Race is as fun and safe for everyone as possible. Hopefully we'll return to the festivities next year!
Over its 4-year tenure, the event as grossed over $17,000 in funds to support the Lake George Land Conservancy, specifically the Bolton Hub Initiative, kiosks and more. Stay tuned on social media for updates on registration, sponsors, swag and more!
